THINGS WE DO

The Covid Pandemic hit Roatan and La Colonia hard. Groceries were purchased in-bulk to save money. Pastor Wilmer’s family packaged the groceries for distribution.

ABOUT US

Fran and Valerie Sullivan are retired missionaries having worked primarily in Roatan, Honduras. During their time in Roatan, the Sullivan’s were involved in drilling wells to provide purified drinking water to a local village known as “La Colonia, Sandy Bay”. Eventually the mission changed from that of providing water to the development of a Christian Children’s outreach, and the construction of a new church building in La Colonia. The Sullivan’s were involved in screening and selecting a qualified Pastor, who was experienced in working with children of all ages.

Over the years the focus of the ministry has grown from a Children’s ministry into the development of “Disciple Makers”. The current Pastor, Pastor Wilmer Rodriguez , is a young, energetic Pastor who worked initially as a leader in the Children’s ministry. He now works tirelessly in training and teaching small groups with the hopes of developing new Disciples who will mentor others in the future. God willing, these young Disciples will help us to plant more small churches throughout the region.
